I currently serve as a communications officer at the Council of Independent Colleges, a higher-education association that supports small liberal arts colleges and universities. There I manage digital assets of a public information campaign that promotes liberal arts education. In this role I enjoy crafting and curating content, learning to use new digital communications tools, and strategizing with colleagues the best ways and means to reach target audiences.

My title is also American Council of Learned Societies Public Fellow. The Public Fellows program, which matches recent PhDs in the humanities with positions in the public sector and nonprofit organizations, aims to demonstrate that the "the capacities developed in the advanced study of the humanities have wide application, both within and beyond the academy." I fully endorse and endeavor to exemplify this conviction in my work.
